Use of machine vision for automatic metering when cutting rolled sheets
The aim of the project is to develop and test a system for automatic identification of technologically important points on the sheet after rolling operation in order to adjust the parameters of the subsequent cutting operation. Part of the project is the design of an optical system suitable for both machine vision and measurement. Furthermore, a software system based on the principles of machine vision will be developed.
